Have you ever wondered what goes into creating a large mural on the side of a building or a bridge? Now is your chance to find out through a 10-week artist in residency program that will bring a professional artist to the Mon River Towns to teach community volunteers how to re-create a mural along the 52′ retaining wall at the bottom of Carmichaels Street in Rices Landing, near the Greene River Trail.

This project is made possible through the Arts in Education Partnership of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. The Arts in Education Partnership is administered in SW PA by Pittsburgh Filmmakers/Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.
